Aight, so after we left the memorial our next stops were some temples. We went to the Bao-an Temple (Taoist), Confuscious Temple, Longshan Temple, and some random ones that we just wandered upon lol. The temples were so amazing. I dont really know how to explain the feeling you get walking into such a religious place. It was really cool because I felt like I was a part of what the people there were doing .I mean, we would walk into the temples and people would be praying and giving offerings and stuff, and we just walked around silently and took photos and just soaked it all in. It was really really cool, and the people didnt even seem phased by our presence.
So, we did the temples for a while, then on we went to the Miniature Museum which was SWEET!! We got lost on our way to the museum so we stopped to check our handy dandy map, and we had figured it out when this guy comes up to us and was like "Are you lost, here let me help" and we were like, "no, we know where we're going." but i guess he didnt really understand that we had figured it out so he started tryign to help and actually pointed us in the wrong direction at first, then was like "oh wait, u go this way," lol which we already knew so we thanked him and continued on our way. They had minature everything at the museum (I was kindof surprsied tho cus some of the things didnt look that mini) From minauture rooms in houses that look painstakingly hard, to the seven dwarfs (which they actually had a lot of). I remember this one miniature that was of Buckingham Palace and it had dozens of soldiesrs lined up in front of it (pic is on FB lol) and it looked so detailed and really cool.
After the museum we decided it was time to get our eat on so off we went to find lunch. We stopped at this random security desk in some random building to try to ask where we could find authentic Taiwanese food, and it was a really funny convo cus we were trying to work it out in Mandarin and he was mixing Mandarin and English so it was pretty funny. Eventually we had to give up and away we went. We wandered around for awhile and finally settled on this random stree restaurant that looked like it would be an experience, so we went in. They spoke no english so again i got to practice some of my Mandarin skills and we all ordered our food. I got some sort of meat on top of rice with vegetables on the side. It wasnt so great and it kindof upset my stomach so then i got some soda and it was all good :)
So, after lunch we hit some more temples and it was starting to get late so we figured our last destination for the night would be The Palace Museum which was freakin amazingly huge and looked madd cool on the outside at night. We got to go in for free because they had free entry after i think it was 8 or 9pm. When we went in we got to see this random orchestra performing in the main entrance way so that was a really cool pleasant surprise. Then...we went into le museum...and what a museum it was. It had all sorts of really cool artifacts and paitings, calligraphy, vases, Pottery, and it was all pretty sweet to be able to chekc out. I gotta admit tho, at that point we were pretty wiped, we'd been walking aroudn for like 12hrs so it was kindof the perfect way to end the night. We walked aroudn and looked at all the things in the museum till it closed and they were kicking people out lol so we left.
Early in the day we had tried to take public transportation Bus style lol which ended pretty funny. I was trying to find out where the bus was going so was standing on the bus and i guess the bus driver got tired of trygin to tell me where he was going cus he started to drive off...only downside was my 2 travel companions weren't on the bus!! So, i jumped off the bus and it left without us. However, when we decided to go the Palace Museum we managed to work out the bus, and we were also able to take it once we left so yay :)
We got back to our Hostel aroudn 1am and decided to hit up the convenience store. We saw all these crazy types of Alcohol so we figured.."When in Rome'Lol. So me an Laura both bought a grape vodka which was really very tasty and yummy, and didnt get us drunk so yay again. then it was off to bed for our last night in le hostel.
We woke up the next morning in time for breakfast again, and packed up all of our stuff and got ready to hit the last Temple we wanted to see b4 we said farwell to Taipei. So, off we went to the temple. It worked out great though, because we didnt stay for very long and ended up with a lot of free time f4 our afternoon flight. At that point we decided "Hey lets go to the History Museum and the Botanical Gardens. Having no idea where either of those were we pulled out our trusty map yet again and off we set. We got SOOOO LOST!! it was hilarious. We went in circles and couldn't find out how to get to the Botanical gardens. Did i mention it was freakin hott as heck that day, which was just hialrious...not....cus we had checked the weahter b4 we left HK and it said it would be rainy and cold and it def wasnt and with our backpacks in tow it got really hott really fast. We were still lost and were standing on this random street corner when this guy drove up on a motorcycle and stopped at the red light. We heard him say to his girlfriend that we looked lost and in my head i was thinking how great it would be to be able to ask him for help, but he was driving so how could we. Thats when the guy pulled his motorcycle off the street and drove over to the curb, and asked if we needed help. We said yes and he pointed us in the direction of the Gardens which happend to be really close to where we were lol. We finally got to the Gardens and realized how close the museum was to it, which we figured was prefect cus after we left the Garden we wouldnt have long to go b4 we could get some good old AC.
We got to the Garden and it was beautiful so we walked around in it for awhile and enjoyed the plants and vegetaion, then we got really hot and decided it was time to head to the HISTORY MUSEUM ( which might i add i couldnt wait to see). and yet, somehow we went out of the wrong exit of the garden and got turned aroudn agan, but we ran into a police officer and explained (in Mandarn) that we were trying to get to the history museun and he instructed us to go back in the way we had come out and then go out the way we had initally gone in. too funny
we got to the museum with about 1 and 1/2 hrs to kill b4 we needed to head to the train that would take us to the bus that would take us to the airport. We got to the musuem, which was having a Van Gogh exhibit that we didnt pay for because we didnt have the time, and in we went. The museum wasnt very large, so we got to see it all before we had to leave. it was pretty much what you'd expect to find in a history museum and I enjoyed jsut walking aroudn and tkaing in everything.
After that alas our adventure had come to an end and it was time to depart form Taiwan :( but I can totally say it was 100& worth it and i had an absolute blast while i was there :)

Saturday, March 20, 2010
Alright, so i'm finally sitting down to write in le blog. I know is been awhile so here goes....
So, my first major trip over here was going to Taipei, Taiwan and it was phenomenal. I went with two friends Nicholas and Laura. We left bright and earlish lol on Jan. 29th 2010 and returned on 31Jan 2010 so it was a trip we took on a 3 day weekend. We flew EvaAir and totally ate popeyes at the airport b4 we left which was really cool cus the restaurant had a tv that was playing popeye cartoons. Too COOL :D Ok, so fast-forward to arriving in Taipei. We got there and had to figure out how to get from the Airport to the Hostel we were staying at, which was the Travels Hostel (thank you hostels.com). So we took a bus to a train then a train to the station, which was at the perfect location b/c it was right outside of the MRT Station, which is what they call the Metro System in Taiwan. Our check-in lady was really nice and i got the chance to practice some of my Mandarin with her, b/c one of the languages spoken in Taipei is Mandarin (Yay for getting some practice) We ended up getting an upgrade for our room b/c there were only 3 of us but all of the small rooms were full so we stayed in a room that had 5 beds too sweet. the room we stayed in was madd clean, even the bathroom, which was probably b/c we got a room with a private bathroom. So we set our stuff down and left to begin our adventure....
Our first stop was the Taipei 101 building. We managed to find our way to it by simply walking around for a few minutes, and since its the 2nd tallest building in the world it wasnt too hard to spot over the Taipei Skyline. (it may be the 1st tallest building in the world, but i think the one in Dubai beats it, but is temporarily clsoed to the public) we took some crazy pics on the way to the building. At some moments we even just layed down on the ground and took pics b/c we wanted to get crazy angles, which is a big deal for me cus its not a habit of mine to just lay down on random sidewalks and starts takign pics lol. Anywho...so we were heading over to the building and of course we run into, what else, A McDonals and a starbucks. Oh Americanization. So we get to the building and we head inside. Now, inside this builiding is the worlds fastest elevator, so we bought tickets to ride it and got in line. We got in the elevator and started our ride. I can never seem to remember how long it took to get to the top, but i think one of the pics on FB has it. It was madd fast though, our ears even popped on the way up. So we got off a few floors from the top, and went to take a look around. It was nighttime and the view was mesmerizing, and of course we were really high up. then we walked up a few flights of stairs and went to the very top. You could totally see for miles around and it was completely worth seeing. So we hvoered up there for awhile and then continued on le journey.
At that point we were hungry so decided to go grab dinner .Surprisingly, its really hard to find traditional Tawianese Cuisine in Taiwan, random lol, so we went for some food at this random restaurant situated on the street. The food was awesome, but we were all still hungry after so we decided to go to this street vendor who was right near us. She was this really nice old lady who was selling sausage, so we got some sausage and took a pic with the lady.
Next stop was the Shilin Night Market. Its one of the most famous markets in Taipei and was recommended by a ton of people, so of course we went :D It was soo cool. Its like carnival games meets tons of food, meets inexpensive shopping, meets brights lights...all compiled on street after street after street. When we first got there we came upon this vendor who was selling Egg Cakes which were basically pancakes shaped like animals....and they tasted GREAT!!! The guy selling them to us was really nice and once again i got to practice my Mandarin. So, we walked into the market and started roaming around. We saw so many different types of food like Frog Eggs and Grilled Squid, which was literally a squid that had been split open and its tentacles were just hanging over the edge of the food stand. It was...interesting. then we walked past this guy who had so much energy and we wanted to take a pic with him. I think he was selling meat too, but i cant remember (the pic is on FB tho) He had the biggest smile when we took his pic. We kept wandering further into the market and passed all sorts of racing, shooting, sports, fishing, and every other type of carnival game u can imagine. I decided i wantedto play the game were u have stacked milk bottles and u have to knock them down with a baseball. Little did i know the baseball was as light as a feather and the bottles were like rocks...Fail T. totally got ripped off at that game, but i guess its just all part of the experience. So,we wandered around some more and bought some more food and then decided to head home b/c we needed to catch the last train and it was pretty late and we had an early start the next day.
The next day we got up around 7:30am b/c the hostel offered free breakfast, coffeee, tea, and some other ameninties. Anyways, so we got up and got ready and headed down to breakfast. They had toast, fruit, jams, and Prawn Crackers and tea. We ate a good amount of bread lol then we headed out.
Our 1st stop of the day was the Chang-Kei-Shek Memorial so we got on the train and headed there. The train system was very efficient and pretty easy. In a nut shell every group of 4-5 stops cost the same price and instead of a paper ticket u get this plastic coin that u use. So we got to the Chang-Kei-Shek Memorial (and what we would later find out was also the site of the National Democracy Memorial) and took a look around. The monuments were both beautiful. We totally counted the number of steps leading up to the Chang-Kei-Shek memorial, then totally forgot the number...fail us..but it was def a lot. However, the highlight of that stage of our trip wasnt either one of the monuments. For me, it was the Vegan Fashion Expo that was takign place that day. it wasnt something that we planned on seeing or even knew was there so that just added to its awesomeness. The expo was super cool.

Totally forgot some stuff from my week, so I guess having a blog really will come in handy. So, I decided earlier this week to go "exploring" by myself becasue I wanted to challenge myself a little. I hadnt ridden the MTR by myself yet so figured i'd give it a try. My plan was to go back to this one place i'd already gone to and just walk around and take pics. but when i got off the MTR i wasnt quite sure how to get back to it from where i was so i went to this park instead. It was called Kowloon Park and i hadnt been there yet so I decided to just go. I'm so glad i did too. It was a little cloudy that day but the park was still soo beautiful. there are fountains everywhere and there were little kids that were part of a field trip i guess and they were so cute just roaming around the park . I just took in all the sights, the elderly people, the birds, the sights, the sounds, it was really peaceful and cool. There was a maze there too, but it was kindof a kiddie maze cus adult sized ppl can totally see over the hedges, but that didnt stop me from going in hehehe. Totally tried to stalk these birds that were hopping all over the place but they were madd fast so i only got a few pics of them. Then I saw this bird sitting in this tree, partially hidden, and decided that would be a really cool pic, so I took some of my new little buddy. Time went by so fast in the park. Before i knew it i had been there for over 1 1/2hrs and hadnt even gone through a fraction of the park cus its freakin enormous. Can't wait to go back, esp when the weather gets really sunny and warm and all lovely like lol. So, i eventually left the park and wandered around for awhile. I saw this Temporary Street Market so decided to check it out and see what they had....Bad Idea. I walked in and the 1st thing i see are all these carcasses of pigs, cow, chickens, and ducks, skinned and missing heads! I mean i guess its like a butcher shop type thing, but when ur alone, its in this suspect alley, ur a female, and all the guys in the market are like "hi, hows it going" and are trying to get you to come over and look at their merchandise it feels a little like something out of a horror movie. But it was fine, I walked around a little and then left.Totally stumbled into a mini mall type area which had this cool bakery where u could see the bakers making the breads and pastries and stuff, and all the machines they used. So, I went in and bought some yummy pastries. One was a curry pastry that had potatoes, and of course curry inside, and it was kindof spicy and really good. I also go a pulled pork pastry that i didnt like too much, but then finished it all off with this amazingly scrumptious Apple Strudel Pasty that completed the meal perfectly. Cant wait to go back and try to find that place again so i can get more Apple Pastries. Oh, so i decided to take a pic of the area where u could see them making the pastries and the bakers didnt like that so much. they totally started yelling at me and telling me "no pics allowed" so i left LOL.
A few days ago I also went exploring again but this time went to a completely random stop and it was called Festival Walk I think. Its this humongously huge mall (so many MTR stations lead right into malls its ridiculous) and it has an AMC Movie theatere and an Ice-Skating Rink. TOO COOLL!!! Can't wait to go back to both with friends and have some fun :) The Movie person said the movies are in english but that one or 2 are in Chinese. I wanna see both kinds cus i think the experience is totally worth it. Got myself some KFC which was really good. They're spicy chicken wings are tasty. A lot of ppl say the KFC here is better than the one in the states, but idk cus i havent had KFC in the states in a long time, but it is good here.
Oh, jeesh i have a lot to write about, I totally went to Modern Toilet for this girl Sandy's birthday the other night. I totally saw it featured on Food Network once and was like "OMG if i ever get the chance i'm totally going there" So i went. The food was so so but it was more for the experience than anything else. I had Beef Curry, Soup, and rice and it looked so "belongs in a toilet like" it was way cool. My friend Cyrus played a prank on me which was really funny. I went to go to the restroom and on one of the walls theres too figures, one a boy and one a girl, and its says restroom above it and says push. So, he was totally like,"yeah the bathrooms over there, but dont forget its push not pull" So i go over and try pushing and nothing happens, so i try pulling and thats when i realize its a wall and im an idiot. I turn around and like 5ppl from our group are totally looking at me and laughing. it was too funny. Me and my friend Houng decided we wanted to get the strawerry ice-cream dessert and finish the entire thing. Now, this is one huge dessert that made of shaved ice, ice-cream, fruit, raisins, and tons of other stuff, but we wanted to challenge ourselves by eating the whole thing. We did actually finish the whole thing, but by the time we were done i couldn't feel my face it was so cold and we were both shivering like there was no tomorrow. Side note, apparently Red Beans are like the Dessert of Choice here in China so i've had it a bunch of times. Im not a big fan of it, so it was really crazy when we realized there were red beans in the middle of our massive dessert. It was funny and annoying all rolled into one lol.
Aight, i think i've caught up on everything from last week. I should def try doing this more than once a week so it wont come out so long....eh who am i kididng im a lifetime prcocrastinator, or atleast a temporary member :D

So, WASSUP!!!
Maybe I'm totally sitting here jamming to "I'm a Barbie Girl" cus its stuck in my head after an awesome night of Karaoke . We sang till like 3am and then went for, drum roll....MCDONALDS!! Of course lol. So let's see. What been new with me? Classes started about 2 weeks ago so im doing those and i like my classes a lot...ok covered school now on to the fun stuff. The other night our residence (I-House Block 1) had a O-Night Party which is an Orientation Night Party. First they entertained us with a Tai Chi Master performing and then they brought on the food yummy. Its really cool cus here they allow alcohol at events which really threw all of us for a loop cus most of our home instituitions would be like "no Way" lol. Then we all got into groups and started playing games. Mye an dmy group totally dominated the 1st game. We had 9 ppl and we had to collect different amounts of various items like 6 pairs of shoes, or 2 belts, or 73cents HK. We won like 5 of the 7 rounds cus thats just how we roll LOL. Then we did some LIMBO. I got kinda far, but not far enough lol. this one girl was madd tall and totally dominated the competition. Block 1 Beat block 2...of course hehehe maybe thats my competitive side showing just a little bit. Then it was on to Flip Cup. Block 1 vs. Block 2 of course...block 2 won this time but it was totally fun. Then to celebrate wins and losses a bunch of us decided to try this Vietnamese Delicacy. Its a whiskey thats marinated in a jar with a snake and a scorpion....FOR TWO YEARS!!! It was literally the worst thing i have ever tasted. It burned sooo badly. My whole face was on fire, my mouth tasted so gross after that and nothing got the taste out. It literally burns ur whole throat going down. Totally worth the experience, but i would never do it again Lol :D So that was about it for the I-House Party. This Thursday me and some friends went out to the clubs at LKF and just chilled and hung around which was fun. Saturday night a bunch of us decided to get together and go get dinner and do some karaoke....So we did. We went to this street restaurant and had, Congee (rice soup), Squid, Oyster Cakes, Octupus Mouth, Clams, Shrimp, Some Vegetables, Noodles, Rice, Sweet and Sour Porkchops,Lemon Chicken, Fried Chicken Pieces, Tofu and i cant remember what else, but it was all pretty yummy and tasty. We played this fun game called Taconyaki Taconyaki Nyokiki or something like that lol. Basically everyone chants that and then everyone starts saying numbers 1-10. The trick is u cant say a number at the same time as someone else and u have to go in numerical order, and u cant be the last one to say a number. Its really fun. Usually its a drinking game, but we played it with food. Everytime someone lost they had to eat a piece of this chicken that none of us really liked but didnt want to waste. It was really fun. Then it was on to some Karaoke!!! Karaoke was of course awesome yet again. We got there around 9ish i think and totally sang it 3am. Only 5 of us managed to hold out till the end, everyone else went home, but it was an amazing time. We sang so many songs i cant even keep track. Havent heard my voice yet today, but im sure its shot to hell...again. After Karaoke the 5 of us went for McDonalds, which is just really funny cus we're in China and we go for McDonalds at 3am in the morning. It was kinda freakin really good tho and we all devoured it cus we were hungry as all hell. then we hopped in a taxi and came home. Well, i guess thats it for now, nothing much else to share for now. Its almost 1 here so im gonna go shower and get some food then....maybe do some hw....maybe not....who knows.

Totally had a blast yesterday. So, first me and my friend Rodney went to the ten thousand Buddhas Monastery, but there are actually over 12,000 i guess. The pics are gonna be on FB and it was sooo awesome. At 1st we ended up going to the wrong place and it was a cemetary, but it was a beautiful cemetary and we took some nice pics. To get to the Big Buddha temple at the top of the Monastery took awhile, but the whole way up is paved with all different kinds of Buddhas and no 2 are the same so it was breath-taking to say the least. You could def walk that trail for hours and not get bored. Its up a mountain so u may get tired on the way up but its totally worth the work-out and u dont even notice the distance so the view is fun. Ok, so we got back last night from the Monastery and then decided we wanted to hit the clubs at LKF (long Kuai Fong) which is the area where most of the exchange students party. It was ladies night so we got free drinks and free admission to a lot of bars and clubs. We totally went to AL's Diner and had some old school wings and nachos Western Style....sortof lol. The nachos chips were actually doritos!! Too cool and very yummy indeed. Totally met up with my friend Feli for a minute and took a pic with her to show our teacher Chen Laoshi, she teaches us Mandarin back at UM so we think it'll make her day. So, one place we went to was the Vodka Ice-Bar. It has this room thats -20 degrees Celsius. Can u say brrr. We had Strawberry vodka shots. They didnt taste so good but it was def a cool experience to say the least. Totally ran into a girl and a guy from Australia and Japan and they were totally cool. Australian accents are sexy btw hehehe and they were down to Earth so we hung with them for a few minuts. Then we went to a club called Cavern and thats where i had the best time of the night. Me and my friend Angela totally danced up on stage and it was such an adrenaline rush. A bunch of local students gathered around the area of the stage and were cheering for us and jumping up and down with us and sceaming and shouting with us and it was totally awesome. I've never done anything like that before, but cant wait to do it again. The last place we went to was really chill and we just danced around a chilled. Guys here all seem to use the same pick-up line which makes me laugh everytime. They all asked "So, where u from?" lol. 3 diff guys all with the same pick-up lines..too funny. And apparently short hair here doesnt equal "You look like a guy" lol. Guys here seem to like short hair, cooli. We totally hit the club till around 3 or 3:30am and then caught a taxi back to campus. the night was definitely one for the record books and I totally slept till 3pm this afternoon. Now im gonna go get ready to hit a Exchange Program Party wit soo many other ppl and is gonna be sweet. Fun times, cant wait!! Aight, well thats about it for now. If i think of any other crazy things i'll be back lol. Oh wait, when me and my friend were coing down from the Buddha Monastery we totally went the wrong way and this dog came out of nowhere but i guess it was domesticated cus it didint bother us. Its owner, this little kid, came out of his house and finally got the dog and told us the right direction to go. It was def a cool detour LOL. Peacers for now :)

Hey Hey,
So totally went out tonight and went to a karaoke bar....Again LOL. I love them and this one was way cheaper than the 1st one i went to. Karaoke here is so different from the kind in the states. Here u have ur own private room with mics, a huge flat screen tv and of course tons of music! Its totally cool. Each of us paid about $130Hk and that less than $30US which is insane seeing as we karaoked for a few hours and may have had some adult beverages that i wont admit that i may have partaken in Lol. They had soo many diff songs old school, new school, and just good fun songs. I went with a great group of ppl and we all just kicked it and had fun. I may have sung a little nsync and backstreet boys...cus they totally rock in my world. Last time we went we definitely ended with "Im a little teapot" and it was crazy. taxi's here are madd cheap too. We spend like $13US for two of us to catch a taxi back to campus and it was a good distance so yay!! Now im sitting in my living room, eating McDonalds and playing online. Its def almost 3am and im finally starting to get a little tired so will probably go to sleep soon after posting this. Just wanted to restate that KAROAKE HERE TOTALLY ROCKS AND EVERYONE SHOULD COME TO HK AND TRY IT!!!! Jttot hehehe. Guess thats about it for now. Be back with more "exciting" things that take place in my life later.

So I guess I should probably start sharing all the amazing things i've done in the little over a week amount of time i've been here . That way eveyone back home can know whats what and I'll have a type of journal for the future when i'm old, grey, and cant remember where i put my false teeth lol. So let's see, i totally got lost in the airport for an hour when i 1st arrived which was scary, but i eventually found the group that i needed to meet up with. Oh, and the plane AC totally started leaking air mid-flight which freaked our section of the plane out cus nobody told us what was going on for like an hr and all we heard was this loud air leaking noise that wouldnt stop. BTW when ur on a plane the last thing u want to hear is air leaking from some unknown location. Our school took us on a tour of HK (Hong Kong) a few days after we got here and we went to 3 main places. "The Peak" which is this mountain peak on HK Island. It was a long trip up but totally worth it. The view was spectacular and you could see for miles and miles and it was just mesmerizing. We even found a Starbucks, McDonalds, and Burger King up there, oh Americanization, lol. Then we went to a palce called Stanley Market, which is this huge out door Market where u can buy so many different things, including $5 hats, which i def bought one of. Side note: The exchange rate here is $1 to 7.7$HK which means $100HK is roughly $13 US. Ok so anyways, we got to Stanley Market and I totally ran into my friend Feli from the States, it really makes u wonder about the random simple choices you make in life. Me and my friends decided to make a left turn and there she was. Stanley Market also has a beach which is beautiful. We went when the sun was starting to go down and it was really pretty. While we were there I ate a Sausage Pastry which was really good and a banana and chocolate chip muffin which was also really good. Asian Cuisine is very yummy :) Then we went to this place called Tsim Sha Shui aka TST and saw this light show where the buildings light up to music and there's lasers and its just really neat to see. That was my 2nd time going to TST. the 1st time i went was with some friends 2 nights before and we went out to dinner and the pics are all on FB. TST also has the Avenue of Stars which is kindof like Hollywood Boulevard in LA cus its just a walk along the HK River that has stars for famous HK People and they have their hand-prints in them. Its fun to walk along and take pics. I also tried something called Cuttle Fish which i didnt like to much, but the Chocolate here is addictive lol. I've eaten a lot of it and i like it a lot. Let's see, I went karaoking with some friends the night of the tour and we took a Ferry from the New Territories which is the area of HK where our school, and TST are located. And we crossed over to HK Island and took the MTR (Metro System) to a place called Redbox and karaoked for like 3hrs. Around 1am we decided we didnt want to go back to the dorms so instead we went to Long Kau Fong aka LKF which is like the club and bar district where the International Students go to have fun *wink wink* We danced and just kicked it till around 3am and then took a taxi back to campus. Taxis here are so cheap and pretty quick. We spent about $180Hk which is like $26 US split between 5 ppl so the price was awesome. The bars here are cool and lots of fun. Havent reallly hit a "Club" yet i guess but will def be doing that this week. I dont have classes on Thursdays or Fridays so can u say 4 DAY WEEKEND IN HK AND ASIA!!! Too Cool. Aight, well im gonna go grab some dinner but i'll def type more when i get back. Peacers :)

Just an Update on Me Lol
WATTUP WATTUP!!
So i'm definitely in HK, thanks everyone who pinched me on FB, and i'm loving it. Things here have been awesome and i've only been here for less than a week. I've managed to go to Mall after Mall and random restaurant after random restaurant and so many amazing tourist sites. Its foggy here a lot this time of year, so i cant wait for the sun to start shining through and for it to get really hot cus right now its pretty cold. I'm living in I-House which is International Dorm builiding 1. GO BLOCK 1 lol and its really nice. The dorm rooms are kinda small but the living room and living space totally make up for it. I have a balcony off my living room which has a nice view of some of the Mountains and some of the campus. There's a lot of construction going on around campus and you can see that from the balcony too. Met my roomie the other day,Faye, and she seems really nice so cant wait to hang out with her. There are so many awesome ppl I have met since i got here and everyone seems really friendly, out-going, and fun. There are ppl from all over the world living here so there's no shortage of ppl to meet. I've done some shopping since i go there and it still surprises me how many American style things are available here in HK (Hong Kong). Americanization is no joke, this is definitely where East meets West. I bought some frosted flakes which reminded of home and are equally yummy as the ones i eat back home so yay :) Things here are going really smoothly, I start classes tomorrow and i'm really excited (im a nerd i know but who cares) Well, looks like thats all for now, but feel free to check out my FB and show some love every now and then. Love and miss everybody stateside and i'll be in touch :)
